Gen. Santos City’s Kalilangan Festival 2008 which is in celebration of its 69th Foundation Anniversary was formally opened yesterday afternoon at the Oval Plaza Stage. A Folk Dance Contest and a Grand Fireworks Display preceded the formal opening ceremony which was spearheaded by the Department of Education. I am reposting the poster in its final version and posting a picture of the stage.

Check on the archives. We have lots of posts here about the Tuna Festival. Or better still write the words “tuna festival” in the SEARCH BOX at the header above. Thanks. Good luck on your studies there. :)
