Pictures are worth a thousand words. So for this post, am presenting these shots taken at the oval plaza where 9 barangays (villages) performed their focal presentations to vie for the grand prize of P100,000 at the Kadsagayan Street Dancing Competition, the culminating activity of the Kalilangan Festival 2008.

looking back, i can retire from all these. gensan’s festivals have grown by leaps and bounds. we may have limped on our way to greatness and fallen a few times but there’s no other way to go but up. at least ngayon, pinag-aagawan na kung sinong maging festival director as compared to before. well, well… i can just smile and proudly pronounce: i’m part of history, good or bad, i did my share! bravo, gensan… number one gyud ta pirmi!
