@Michael, if it’s a wedding rite under the Roman Catholic Church, you will really have to convert to Catholicism. One way out of this is to get married under the Philippine Independent Church. You may google search about this church for more details. Good luck and best wishes!

Greetings!

I just want to ask some questions. Is it possible to have a wedding in Catholic Church without converting your Religion? i’m not a Catholic and my fiancee is Catholic and she wants a Catholic wedding. But i promise that our child to be baptized in Catholic Church…is there any alternative ways for us to have that wedding w/out converting my religion? thanks and God bless us all…hope i will receive some feedbacks to my e-mail…

@Crislyn, mag-request ka ng kamag-anak mo rito na kunin ang baptismal certificate mo in your behalf. Very minimal lang ang fees. Mas mabuti if you can write them a letter certifying that you are authorizing your relative to get it for you.

i remember this very vividly. noon kapag nagsisimba kami ng pamilya … ang suot namin ni kuya avel pareho lagi…. that’s because number one tailor ang tatay namin. noon pag nagkakasalubong sa kalye, lahat nagbabatian – kasi magkakakilala. nilalakad lang namin from the church to our house along pioneer avenue. ang freedom park dyan na mismo ang stations of the cross… grabe… biglang bumalik mga alaala ko…
