26 March 2008 128 views 14 Comments

Manny “Pacman” Paquiao, the new WBC Super Featherweight Champion arrived in his hometown Gen. Santos City today, March 26, 2008 on board a PAL airbus from Manila. He was met at the GenSan International Airport runway by his former political foes, GenSan City Mayor Jun Acharon and Congresswoman Darlene Antonino-Custodio of the 1st District of South Cotabato. They later joined him at the motorcade through the city’s major thoroughfares arranged by the local government.

As promised, here are some of the pictures I took of the arrival and the motorcade…

hindi po PAL airbus ang sinakyan ni manny pabalik ng gensan, it is PAL Jumbo jet Boeing 747-400. I miss Gensan.

Hi Glen! dont worry, malapit na ang iyong sariling post…about your kingdom. :)

Okay na ba sila ni Darlene Antonino?

Hi Dom. I think they’re ok na. If not, Darlene wouldnt be joining him during the 2-hour motorcade. Ever since naman, she has been vocal about being a Pacman fan. I just hope Manny doesnt run again so that they could all work together for the betterment of their city. (wishful thinking ba?)
