Mao siguro dili ingon kaayo ang pag dagan sa uswag sa syudad kay we are not represented so well...Congresswoman Darlene, can you do something about this???? Bisag mao na lang ning imong ulihing legacy sa imong mga constituents.

With 529,542 people, that makes General Santos City the biggest city in the Philippines without its own representative in Congress. Darlene Custodio is the representative for the 1st District of South Cotabato that includes Tampakan, Tupi, Polomolok and General Santos. She does not represent just General Santos City. General Santos City has enough population for TWO congressmen, not just one. For not having two congressmen, General Santos City is losing hundreds of millions of pesos in development assistance from the Congress pork barrel system.

A bigger population can either be an opportunity or a headache for any LGU. I hope that Gensan, considering it’s talented/educated populace, can be as progressive as other cities in the Philippines.
