Youth Achiever’s Award Year 9 Poster

Good news to all young “generals”!

The local government of General Santos City through the Youth Affairs and Development Office (YADO) in coordination with the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) has just launched the YOUTH ACHIEVER’S AWARD - Year 9, the city’s premier search for the most outstanding youth group and individuals.

For the Individual Entries, here are the categories:

  1. In-school Youth Category ( High School or College);
  2. Young professionals, Entrepreneurs and Workers Category;
  3. Cultural Communities Youth and Youth with Special Needs Category;
  4. Youth Excellence in the Artistic Disciplines.

For the Group Entry, here are the requirements:

  • Based on the following general criteria:  Impact in the Community, Social Mobilization, Innovativeness and Sustainability.

Deadline of submission of application is on September 30, 2008 while the Awarding Ceremonies will be on December 12, 2008.
