National Tourism Week Photo Contest in GenSan is on!

In celebration of the National Tourism Week on September 22 – 27, 2008, the City Economic Management and Cooperative Development Office (CEMCDO) of the local government of Gen. Santos, has just launched their Photo Contest, open to hobbyists and professionals.
For this year, their theme is: Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change. Below is the poster designed by Jing Velos. (Click on the image for a larger view.)

Bariles is a Filipino word for “Tuna”, the primary source of income of the people of General Santos City which hosts 6 of the Philippines’ 8 tuna canneries and more than 80% of its tuna processing plants.
