as we can see in its floor plan or perspective design plan that even though its only 2 storey high, we can assume that it will still be a big mall for its caters 100, 000 square meters of floor space along Santiago and San Miguel.

about the issue of why is it that always investments most specially Malls coming in to our city are all located at Brgy. Lagao and why not to other location within the city, its because like in other posts given here at the top, Lagao is situated as part of the Central Business District of the City where continuing development and incoming investments will also be situated..

Like the newly opened Sun City Complex where it houses its 40+ rooms Sun City Suites Hotel, a restaurant complex and other business establishments.. at the back of it will house nearly this year the start of construction of the Mabuhay I.T. Park which will cater more additional investments most especially on the BPO and IT industries…

the location in brgy calumpang and brgy apopong is good because there are still lots of floor spaces to cater for a big establishments such as of a mall like SM.. But with the observations with these areas, brgy calumpang houses all powerful industrial-based establishments such as fishing industries like Canneries, Dole, Rowell Can (who manufactures cans for our canneries), power plants, etc. While in brgy apopong, its houses residential commodities such as subdivisions, traveler’s inn, and local residential houses..

so, to conclude all of this, Brgy lagao is really a perfect place to put up such investments like Malls, Restaurants, and others because of its ideal location situated along the business district of our city.. its also an advantage for us shoppers for we can easily travel from 1 mall location at a time if we could not find the stuffs that we want to but because every mall is foot steps away from each other.. the people will not be bored of just staying 1 place thus it will also create bonding among them, like a family, friends, lovers, etc.

about the traffic issue, its also written in the posts of sir avel that SM will provide the traffic light system at the junction of San miguel st. and santiago blvd to ease the traffic that will coming from both junctions. and SM main entrance is situated along santiago blvd which we can see that it can holds up to 6 lanes of road capacity not to mentioned the space provided by existing establishments in front of it which holds enough spaces for its customers parking lot, how much more with SM parking lot which we can see and experience from its malls in other cities, that it really caters a big ranged of car vehicles to park. we can assume that light traffic will be experienced cause by our local utility vehicle like the tricycle’s and taxi’s whom will load and unload local commuters in the area (there is no route for jeepney’s and multicabs in Santiago blvd, starting from the junction of EMCOR and Petron going to SM City to St. Elizabeth Hospital)… so we can expect less to light traffic the given junctions..

however, i cannot imagine right now of how our local government handle the traffic situation in the intersection/junction of San Miguel St. and J.Catolico Avenue going to Socoteco II, Gaisano Mall to KCC Mall and vice versa.. Hope that our local government will also provide another traffic light system in the said intersection for J.Catolico is one of the busiest streets in the city because of its location catering the entrances of 2 big malls:the Gaisano Mall and KCC Mall.. and it is also the route of Multicabs, and Jeepneys going to lagao and Casa Luisa Village and vice versa not to mentioned the tricycle’s, taxi’s and other utility type vehicles coming in and out of the said area.. Thus, a good suggestion will be putting up of the said traffic light system at its junction, good suggestion also is putting up a pedestrian over pass to minimize the loads of people going in through the streets with the vehicles, which is the problem now in the main entrance of KCC Mall…

hope this issues will be clarified and congratulations to our beloved Gensan City in making up this far.. Wheeewww, Kudos to all Local Officials headed by our beloved City Mayor Darlene Custodio – Antonino and the rest of the team.. Kudos to sir avel for sharing all the updated infos to us, and kudos to our selves, the Generals for such urban experienced we are right now..

totoong may sm sa susunod na taon kung hindi nila ituloy im sure magagalit ang mga salazar na demolished na nila lahat dyan except dunkin sila na lang ang nakaantala sa negotiatin ng mga salazar at sy kasi 2010 pa ma expire ang contract ng dunkin with salazar but anyway hinanapan na nila ng paraan sa tingin ko parang ipasok na nila sa loob ng mall ang sm friend ko ang architect na nakassign sa gensan project.
