Balut stalls like this is very common in marbel. Dun lahat ng kalye may mga stalls and the balut there tastes better compared sa mga balut sa gensan... Hehehe..apat talaga ha.. Nate Marxs last blog post..One of the best articles I ever read

@daxi weida - hi daxi! balut is ok if you're still young. but once you reach middle age, you have to temper your appetite for it. for us the squeamish types, even if we eat it in the dark, we could still feel the bones and the feathers in our mouths? maybe, the best solution is not to chew it but to WASH IT DOWN with San Mig Lite. Hehehe! Ok ba?

The peak of my balut-eating appetite was during my college days (admittedly not recent; but i assure you it’s not so long ago and i would usually ask for the 16 or 17-day olds. Masarap ang balut lalo na as a post-happy hour panghimagas. For the squeamish (read: maarte, hehehe), the technique is to chomp it in the dark or with eyes closed. Today, I still eat the balut everytime i am presented with the opportunity. My 9-year old kid also loves it.

I’ll await that blog about the Balut Pugo. If the original balut (itik) equals “abortion”, I surmise this balut-pugo would be nearer to… hmmm… genocide?

Nong nagbubuntis pa ang misis ko alam mo ba na muntik ng binato sa akin yang balut..

Napaglihiin nya kasi “ulam na may sabaw”, mga 11pm na rin kasi ako nakauwi from work wala na akong oras maghanap pa.. Antok na rin.. Kaya binili ko balut (ulam na may sabaw) Ahahahaha!
