MBS2 featured in ABS-CBN’s Magandang Umaga Socsksargen

I still have a hangover of last weekend’s 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit that I couldn’t write a more detailed assessment of what transpired starting from the time my fellow bloggers started arriving in GenSan on the afternoon of October 24th till the time when the few remaining ones from Davao left on Monday afternoon, October 27th.

Oh well, I will just leave you guys to do the writing first, the links of which I will publish here anytime today.

For the moment, here is the video file of the short feature which our Official Media Partner ABS-CBN Socsksargen, part of its Regional Network Group did on the MBS2.

This clip was aired this morning, October 29, 2008 over their morning program, “Magandang Umaga Socsksargen” hosted by DJ Joey C and Ms. GenSan 2006 Rhean Hazel Hacosta.

It contains the 15-seconder TV ad which ran for a month at their regional stations in GenSan, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga. It also features a greeting from GenSan City Mayor Jun Acharon.

Voice over was done by DJ Mario Valentino Baladjay, of GenSan’s #1 radio station MOR 92.7 (For Life).

Look for Bariles behind the scenes and count the many number of times he was caught in the background, kunyari busy. Hehehe!

@joseph – di ko sya tinitira joseph no. ano ka ba. naiinis ako sa abs cbn crew for not even featuring him as the man behind he success of mb2. kasama sa inis ko ang article ni bong sarmiento sa business world na wala man lang minention si bong about him. ano ba yan! give credit to where credit is due. kaya for me their reports (abs cbn and bong sarmiento) was like ampao – walang laman.

@gensanite – halllleeeerr!!! buti sana kung araw araw nafi-feature si avel kaya dapat shy-away sya sa limelight. like it or not if not for all his efforts wala yang mbs2 na yan. kaya please lang, whoever made that abs cbn piece (and to bong sarmiento’s piece) blagadag kayo in my book. bad piece of reporting is all i can say. it’s like talking about a world summit hosted by the philippines and not mentioning the philippines. yun lang.

@orman – You have a point Mr. Orms. Dili jud balance ang reporting. As in KULANG KULANG sa information. Para saan pa at naging reporter sila? at para saan pa at naging sponsor sila ng event???? sinasabi ko na naga ba eh…i smell something really fishy.

ay ui! mas nice tong sa TV Patrol Socsksargen. bida kaau ako likod for 5 secs nya split second sa side view. pirti nakong emote ug pose kay duol ang camera sa amo table.. wa lang man gi apil katong part. ahahhaha

oh! kuya avel… sa ako ka bored.. gbilang nako imo appearance sa video… 4 times. 1:46, 1:53, 1:59 and 2:10.ahahhaha… ana jud ko ka bored anyways… congrats kuya avel. ^_^

I’m with you Orman, I was dismayed after watching “You Tube”.How can you not interview the person who started it all? I’m well aware of everybody’s effort and support and i sincerely thank them but puh-leeze let’s give credit to the host of the summit. If not for him, there would not be a summit!

in fairness, kahit di ka nainterview (na-imbyerna si orms), ikaw ang key mover and shaker ng big event na ito. it is not one small task.
