SM Supermalls on the lookout for Leasing Manager for SM City-GenSan!
It’s really must be final. Confirmed. Sigurado na.
Over a week ago, Bariles found out that the website of Jobstreet released a news bulletin from their client, SM Supermalls which will delight most of the people of General Santos City and the whole of Soccsksargen.
The bulletin, released on October 16, 2008 announced their search for a LEASING MANAGER who will be assigned in, taah-dahhh, SM City- General Santos. (Click on the image below for a larger view.)
Now that should put to rest any speculation on whether SM Supermalls is really intending to include GenSan in their list of cities in the Philippines which host their malls.
With this new development amidst the ongoing construction of Robinsons Place – GenSan, this does not only cement General Santos City’s role as South Central Mindanao’s premier city but also its assured place in the hearts of more multionational investors.
And as for SM City-Gen. Santos’ location which I blogged about earlier, well, things might still change. It could still be someplace else along the National Highway.
Now, if you want to get that job, log on to the JOBSTREET site by CLICKING HERE. Deadline of applications is on December 15, 2008.
IBANG KLASE NA TALAGA ANG GENERAL SANTOS CITY!!!
HANEPS!!!

yey, more malls mean more people!!! More opportunities for my craft… It has a downside though, as what Mr. Avel told me after the MBS2.
P.S. Anyone interested here of sponsoring a purely mentalism show??? Minimum of 5k, its ticket based so basically there would be a huge income out of it, it only needs a good promotion.
And another one, Dadiangas Magic Society upon its foundation which is the convergence of 2 magic circles in gensan wants to perform for a charity institution…If you are under an organization and is on doing charity work especially for children, D.M.S. is willing to work with you in bringing joy to other people…

is that clear…?

Host???…Siguro you mean SM City-General Santos is the 3rd SM Supermall in the island of Mindanao…or maybe 4th after SM City-Davao North in Lanang.

That’s great news.. SM should consider putting its mall in the western part of the city to create business/commercial hub in that area, to help “spread the wealth” ‘ika nga and diffuse traffic.
Another great news: Boxer Nonito Donaire has retained his IBF Flyweight crown. One for General Santos City once again. Congrats!

Yes kuya Avel I also saw that Ad in the jobstreet when I logged in there last month. Another thing is, I have heared that McDonalds will open another branch along Nat’ Highway infront of St. Elizabeth. The site of former Take All (Convenience Store) & Tinapay Republic will be vacated. They will compete head to head with Jollibee Highway since the former was really doing well. I don’t know if it is a drive thru or a plain store.
Posted on November 3rd, 2008 at 11:13 AM
White Knight Says:
Yeah that’s good too. But with due respect to your suggestion, I would prefer MAKRO to open first here in our city because of its signifacant benifits it may give knowing their low price in all commodities. I’m sure a lot of consumers will be happy about this and also our businessmen from nearby towns of Socsargen for they no longer go to Makro-Davao to buy bulk of goods. Ayala is set to open in Davao City by 2010 if i’m not mistaken at a budget of P5.0 Billion.

Well it’s really a welcome news if EAST-WEST Bank is planning to open a branch here. Sana pati na rin ang CITIBANK Savings & HSBC so that our city becomes a complete financial district na rin because of the presence of these two foreign bank. Ang problema is pera nalang kung meron ba akong e deposit dito. Hahahaha.

Speaking of SM City-Gensan’s FEVER thing. I would just like to give my comments to those in authority of our city if they can do something in the road along San Miguel Road going to J. Catolico which is at the present it’s just a two (2) lane road. The propose site of SM once be opened would create a great traffic on that area. Can our city gov’t negotiate of the lot owner to donate or buy it from them for a four lane road expansion?
Our city is blessed with wide roads. That’s the very first impression given from visitors coming here. It’s our edge. We have a very good road planning which other cities don’t have. So since the above mentioned scenario would be a problem soon, why not are govt’ would do something now before the actual construction started. Because when it will be a one way road and city decides later to expand the road, ti will be costly both for SM & the gov’t if that happen. I could not imagine if we have a one way entry along San Miguel St. This is not Gensan’s traits if that will happen.
I do hope they will see the scenario. Just a piece of advise, nothig else.

Can’t wait to go home to GenSan with these two malls operating.. hehe Anyway, sad to say but the morning flight of Cebu Pacific to Manila will be suspended from Mid November to Mid February to give way to more Manila – CDO flights.. Anyways, after nitong lahat na developments, baka next year twice daily na ang Manila – GenSan ng Cebu Pacific..
Bariles, can you take some pics of the situation sa airport every M-W-F until mid november kasi 2 Cebu Pacific Planes ang naka park and One Pal.. hehehe

It’s an awesome feeling to hear that gensan, my birthplace is really booming. The addition of Robinson and SM is so inviting for me to visit gensan again.
