nakakatuwa nmn..pero 4 years na akong wala sa gensan but before that lagi ako pumupunta sa me city hall to withdraw pero nakalagay out of service,hanggang ngaun b nmn..grabe na yn..kakatuwa lng isipin nwala pa ring pinagbago sa service…

Not only landbank. BDO claims they are one of the largest banks but they couldnt service their growing depositors. They have 6 ATMs all over gensan but look at the long lines in Santiago branch, “always” off-line KCC branch are some of the inconveniences I experienced with this bank.

6 ATMs may be enough so long every machine is working when people needed it most.

6 ATMs may not be enough, they mUST add more.

LGU must pass a legislation protecting us, depositors, for a better service.

Hay naku kuyavel, matagal ko nang gusto pasabugin yan!!!!

It was only when a friend pointed out their signage that I came to my senses. The sign says: “LBP ATM: _4-Hours service” Kaya naman pala. 2 hours sa umaga, 2 hours sa hapon. Wala sa gabi, wala sa weekend, wala sa lunch break, walang silbi… LOL

I myself have encountered this problem.

I think the day before our class Christmas Party, my mom gave me her Landbank atm card and told me to withdraw money for new clothes and jeans.

Since I dont have any cash on hand, I really have to withdraw the money and when I went to the ATMachine just beside ADDU, I was like… What the —-!?!? However, I encountered different machine message from yours na machine unavailable. I forgot what it was. Pero same lang din naman ang meaning, I cant withdraw there.

Sakit sa ulo sa na experience. hmpf.

So for the party, I dont have any choice but to wear my old jeans and old shirts, and wore also a disgruntled face. huhu.

fyi, that machine has been assaulted many times with a mentally-challenged woman, who shoved different kinds of trash on the card reader, which is very very sensitive. you may ask the guards, that has been reported several times already, and i don’t know what has been done about it. it’s not that easy to replace ATMs too, as each unit costs around a million each. and you know budget approvals for government agencies are usually madugo, so it may take a while before that machine is replaced. not only is it a headache to the clients, but more so to landbank itself, because it is their responsibility and the last thing they want are complaining dissatisfied clients. but technical glitches are way beyond their control, so there would be more teeth-gritting in the meantime.

now, don’t ask why i know those things. somehow, at least you know another side of the story. but you can still complain with the bank of course.

@Cecile Maris – hi cecile! welcome home! it’s the role of the banks to ensure that their machines work perfectly. and if it’s DIEBOLT’s fault, their technicians are supposedly on call 24/7.

you yourself have noticed that this has been happening on an regular basis. surely, after all these times, they could have done something about it.

I was actually expecting you to blog about this kasi napansin ko din na laging offline yung ATM diyan.

I do not have enough background regarding the system behind this so I’m not supposed to draw conclusions. But from what I’m hearing, it is not always LBP’s fault kaya lagi siyang offline. Some banks are experiencing the same problem dahil sa mismong machine nila, yung Diebold. And from the picture nga naman, Diebold yung gamit diyan. So might as well assume na yun yung root of all. LOL Peace. Pero to be sure, it’s always best to ask the bank about it.
