dito ako nag apply nung last monday.pero di ako ntanggap pero kahit ano pa man mag balik balik japon kog apply ddto hantod mapul.an sa kong nawong tong naga hire.. ewan ko kung bakit dunkin talaga ang gusto ko …gusto ko lang kasi magng part ng family ng dunkin ok nga eh kahit janitress lang ako basta dunkin proud na ako…next monday naman apply na naman ako doon.. sana tanggapin na ako ni maam kahit mataba ako i promise to her na mag didiet ako…

sana po maimprove ung mga building and stalls sa pioneer avenue…. lain kaau tanawon ang mga guba na mga buildings na pwera gaba mura gyud ug patay.. no offense… but tama si kuya avel… giant eyesores jud!…

I think ang responsible sa pagpagwapo sa pioneer clock and island is a ang KAGANDAHAN GENSAN dept… kaya nyo po yan! pagwapoha ninyo… sa mga owners sa idle lots.. please po… himui na ug plans.. para ayos pod tanawon… ang mga aliwalas store etc… (night life areas.. ehhe) naa pa ba?.. unta tarungon na oie…. kung ok lang unta himuong bangko na tanan…. business area… blah blah… go gensan go! kaya nato ni!…. kanang mga old house and buildings sa acharon boulevard, sa pinoeer. and up to the silway darimco area.. unta pagwapuhon pod… kabalo man pod ta na lisod pod ang wawarts karon.. pero unta magassist ang local government para magwapo pod tanawon… tapos makearn ang gensan… god bless to all! just concerned…

PS: nagbutang na ko ug eye drops (tetracycline) sa akong mga mata para mawala akong eyesores dahil sa pioneer avenue na yan.. joke lang po… ehheh… auau generals!

for me in my role as festival director, mas gusto kong idecorate ang pioneer avenue kasi memorable nga sya for me and madaling i-dress up talaga. watch out for what we intend to do with pioneer avenue during kalilangan festival. the street dancing parade on the 27th will be a carousel type parade na lahat ng contingents iikot lang sa stretch ng pioneer avenue...from 9am to 12nn... ormans last blog post..Hallelujah

observation lang po..
yung pioneer avenue kc natin napuno na ng mga technical schools
lalo na yung maraming building jan na parang mushrooms nagsi sulputan lng..
yung golden state college.. sori sa may-ari.. pero hindi sya bagay sa sentro ng syudad..
dapat magtayo ng lang sila ng isang malawak na campus kung talagang education ang priority nila.. kc pwede ng tawaging GOLDEN STATE AVENUE ang pioneer avenue..

desperate sugestion lng, dapat may programa ang local government na ipromote ang tourism ng pangunahing daan sa gensan ang pioneer avenue..

dapat mag encourage sila sa mga negosyante to put up RESTAURANTS, COFFEE SHOPS, BOUTIQUE, INTERNET CAFES, HOTELS, FOOD KIOSKS, ETC.

hay salamat naman bubuhayin uli ang Pioneer Avenue…diyan nag start si Father Fruc ng Zabala Brothers sa Victorina Building. Pioneer Avenue used to be the Ayala Avenue of Gensan, sayang naman.

Thanks Manoy Avel for writing about the long forgotten avenue of memories…he he he… dati rati, you know all the people walking after the am/pm masses at OLPGV, walang strangers. ngayon, halos wala na yatang naglalakad sa Pioneer Avenue. i remember walking with Dra. Angie Magbanua-Alaba and Lita Garcera at the Lagao and Bula jeepney stops right in front of Terrace and IBAA.

Hope the investors start re-building Pioneer. It would be great for Gensan!

Hi Nate! They tried to do that before with the GenSan Town Square at the Anchor Driving Range. Too bad that patrons of the nearby East Asia Royale Hotel complained of the nightly noise from the place’s sound systems that it had to close shop.

Yeah, I heard of that too. Sana magkaroon tayo ng Gensan Town Square na maayos. One thing na pangit din ngayon sa pioneer avenue is that andaming KTV bars ang dating tuloy parang nagiging malate ang pioneer kung gabi.

Ang boring na ng gensan pag gabi starting at 8 pm unless weekends… Sana matapos na ang park natin… Excited na ako sa kalalabasan…

Thanks to Bariles’ website, even if I’m right now typing my way here in the oil-rich KSA, his articles are always like fresh newspapers for me, bringing updates on our old beloved city…..siyempre, the City of Champs!!!! Sa mga kabatch (1978)& classmates ko sa college, magpost naman kayo dito. Mabuhay!!!
