I understand why they have to cut out power and limit it for an hour… but I guess it’s so unfair for us (from Gensan) to suffer brown out for 9 hrs a day?…..davao experience only 2-3hrs at times unlike in Gensan that experience brown out 7-9 hrs DAILY!!!!How could this be if we only got one source of electric power?…..

THIS TYPE OF POWER PLANT PRODUCES A LOT OF POLLUTION IN THE AIR BECAUSE OF THE COAL BURNING…IF THE PROJECT PUSHES THROUGH THE WIND COMING FROM THE SOUTH WILL BRING SMOKE AND DUSTS NORTHWARDS THUS SPREADING POLLUTION TO THE REST OF SOCSARGEN AREA. Eventhough, we know the definition of blackout and brownout, we Filipinos love to call it brownout because Filipinos are “brown” not “black”. Ahehehe!

Pagnaa ta tudluon nga lugar, ginagamit nato ang atong “nguso” (tu-a didto)Ahehe!

Ang tawag nato driver or vendor ay uncle (angkol)bisag dili nimo sya uncle or relatives..

Pagmukaon ta sa restaurant.. mukuha jud ta ug toothpick..

Ug mahilig tayo sa “no”.. diba no? Ahehehe!

“Blackout” po ang term sa power outage kapag buong ciudad or lalawigan ang naapektuhan. “Brownout” naman po ang tawag sa power outage kapag bahagya lamang ng kabuuang lugar ang naapektuhan.
