With just a week to go, the buzz on the Pacquiao-Hatton fight is reaching feverish pitch.
Here in GenSan, the local government is preparing the Gen. Santos City Gym for the free live airing for 8,000 of its generals. I’ve really enjoyed following the lead up to this fight on HBO’s 24/7. This in particular was a great episode. I’m glad they usd the song “The Goin’s Great” by Sammy Davis, Jr. to start the episode….such a great mood setter. Nothing gets my blood bumping like good Vegas-conjurring tunes, and with Sammy Davis Jr. and MGMT (they also played “Time to Pretend”) it just makes you feel like Vegas…i’m stoked.
Grabe talaga.

Anyway, I hope Pacquiao puts on a show, to prove he’s the toughest pound-for-pound fighter there is, and also just to shut up Meriweather…. Check out the opening clip at http://displacedbrett.wordpress.com/2009/04/26/pacquiaohatton-madness/
