Once more, the whole Philippines will come to a standstill on the morning of Sunday, May 3, 2009 when their living national sports hero, Manny Pacquiao meets British Ricky Hatton on a fight dubbed as “Pacquiao vs. Hatton: War of the Worlds” in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Here in General Santos City, Manny Pacquiao’s home turf, the “generals” will once again be treated to a Free “Pacquiao vs. Hatton Fight” Live Telecast via Pay-per-view at the airconditioned GenSan City Gym. This is of course, sponsored by the offices of City Mayor Jun Acharon and Congresswoman Darlene Antonino-Custodio.
