Comelec GenSan release schedule of Satellite Voters’ Registration (important)

Bariles did not know that the voters’ registration of the Comelec is now being done on the Barangay Level until he was supposed to bring his housemate to their office at the old GenSan City Hall building today.
This project called the Satellite Voters Registration means that the constituents of General Santos who are already of voting age by June 2010 would only need to go to their respective Barangay Halls to register.

And so without much further ado, here is the schedule of GenSan’s Satelllite Voters’ Registration which started last June 29th.

- July 1-2 – Batomelong
- July 3-4 – Tinagacan
- July 6-7 – Ligaya
- July 8-9 – Baluan
- July 10-11 – Olympog
- July 13-14 – Conel
- July 15-16 – Mabuhay
- July 17-18 – Katangawan
- July 20-21 – Buayan
- July 22-23 – San Jose
- July 24-25 – Sinawal
- July 27 – August 1 – Calumpang
- August 3-8 – Bula
- August 10-13 – City Heights
- August 14-18 – San Isidro
- August 19-22 – Lagao
- August 24-29 – Tambler
- August 31-Sept 5 – Fatima
- Septenber 7-12 – Labangal
- September 14-19 – Apopong
- September 21-23 – North
- September 24-26 – West
- September 28-30 – East
- October 1 – 3 – South
- October 5 – 7 – Siguel
- October 8 – 9 – Holy Trinity College*
- October 5 – 7 – Mindanao State University*
- October 14-16 – KCC Mall*
* - Satellite Voters Registration on these venues are still subject for approval by the Regional Election Director.

question, KUY… last time i voted in gensan was 2004, and i’m planning to vote next year there… how would i go about this? do i need to see comelec or talk to people from that office or something? i haven’t got my voter’s id pa actually…

Better give me your complete name (Surname, First Name, Middle Name) so that I could have it checked in the National Voters Search to know if you’re still active in the list. 2004 ka pa kasi huling bomoto, meaning you’ve missed two elections (May 14, 2007 Local and National Elections and October 29, 2007 Sk & Barangay Elections). It is a ground for deactivation in the list of voters if you were not able to vote for two consecutive elections.
