SAYANG now ko lang nabuklat itong traffic topic. . . . almost 1 year na pala ito but still ayan buhay pa. . . .

it’s nice to have traffic lights i9n busy intersections because it helps minimize traffic jams that snakes vehicles in the long lines.

TEKA where na pala yung unang traffic light sa pioneer avenue noong panahon ni lita nunez? hehehehe pagkatapos kasi ng one-on-one duel ni Sir adel and mam lita, na pildi si lita tapos nyan nawala ang mga traffic lights sa pioner avenue, nawala yung mga street lights

They should have done this a long time ago. I’m very happy for Gensan’s improvement. Traffic lights must be installed along Pioneer Ave and Santiago Blvd. Hopefully the tricycle drivers and jeepney drivers know how to obey traffic light.

Congratulations to GenSan for having its traffic control system. This is a good start in recognizing the importance of traffic management and transport planning. I do hope the city will finally formulate its transport plan and corresponding traffic management plan. GenSan can also start considering a demand responsive public transport system that fits its urban formation and environment. I do hope also that the city will institutionalize transport impact assessment (TIA) to address growing traffic congestion and environmental deterioration due to urban and regional development, such as malls and large scale development projects.

The city of Koronadal is currently doing its hands on transport and traffic management plan. They will do their traffic surveys needed for the planning late this week. I suggest Mylene and Rizza coordinate with those assisting Koronadal. It would be a good idea to come up with an integrated regional transport plan and traffic management plan for the Koronadal GenSan corridor.
