General Santos City’s business month is once again upon us and for its 8th incarnation, the SMED Council has come up with a jampacked schedule spread out over four weeks meant to keep every would-be-entrepreneur or enterprising general busy.
Guys, welcome to the 8th YAMAN GENSAN 2010: Trabaho, Negosyo, Asenso.
This year’s YAMAN GENSAN is once again handled by the SMED Council with the support of both the local government of General Santos and the Department of Trade and Industry plus ACLC and SKC 28.
Other than the usual Franchise Expo, Entrepreneurs’ Forum, JOBS Fair, Yaman GenSan Trade Fair and Exhibit, Business Opportunity Seminars and Livelihood Training and Fora, the secretariat is introducing new events like the Pangasius Exhibit, Eco-Tour and Eco-Talk, the 3rd Tuna Handliners Summit, the Mindanao Zonal Skills Olympics, Lechon Parade cum Competition, the Halal Forum cum Exhibit and the Livestock Sector and Suppliers Night, among others.

The 8th Yaman GenSan officially starts via an Opening Ceremony at the Robinsons Place on June 23, 2010, Wednesday at 4pm with the theme: PREMYO, SAYA, SALVO. Admission is FREE so please check out the exhibits and trade fairs within the next few days.
