This is it! The contest that the fans of Vice Ganda have all been waiting for is here.
If you have been sleeping under Mt. Matutum for quite sometime, please be informed that the famous stand-up comedian and TV talent search judge VICE GANDA will be in General Santos City on June 27, 2010 for a concert entitled: “May Nag-Text, May Show Ako, Vice Ganda Live @ Gensan” which we featured here in an earlier article which you may read by CLICKING HERE.
And in relation to that we are giving away FREE TICKETS TO THE CONCERT via, “May Nag-Text, May Show Ako: Vice Ganda Live @ GenSanConcert” ONLINE Contest.
If you have a blog, here are the Contest Mechanics:
- Write about the Vice-Ganda concert based on this blog post and on a prior write-up we did which can be found by CLICKING HERE.
- Put a link to this contest page on your contest entries.
- Be sure to include all the sponsors in your blog post.

- Deadline of submission of entries is 6pm, June 25, 2010 (Philippine Time).
- Winners will be announced after 12pm, June 26, 2010.

I have three reason why Vice Ganda should be dubbed as the “Pambansang Komedyante”.
1. Nakakahawa siya! Every time I receive a message, napapasigaw ako kahit di ko namamalayan ng “MAY NAG TEXT!”
2. Wala Siyang Hiya! Kasi, he isn’t ashamed of his roots. Very down to earth na tao. And he loves his mom very much!
3. Biased siya! What I like about Vice is that every time na may mga Happy and Gay na contestant sa Showtime!, he always’ applaud and praise them. Minsan, he gives advice. Then one time, inaway pa nya si Tado on-air dahil sa quote ng shirt nito. haha
basta, I LOVE VICE GANDA.

Never mind the title “PAMBANSANG KOMEDYANTE”, his success already speaks for himself…and again he’s just getting started
The Catalyst: SHOWTIME! …Isa sa pinaka – popular na TV shows (if not the most popular) sa ABS – CBN ang showtime and one of the attractions there is Vice Ganda… Now, just imagine the show without him. No wonder ginawaran siya ng “EMERITUS” status as a judge. Bakit nga ba?
Bago pa man ang showtime, nakakitaan na natin si VG ng galing sa larangan ng komedya
through his previous TV shows, guestings and performances in Laffline and Punchline. But
his greatest achievement thus far is his stint as a resident “judge” sa Showtime. Ngayon,
to the next level na ang SHOWTIME because of VG. I can confidently say VG is now the face of Showtime. No wonder, he is the UNEVICTABLE!
As if this is not enough, to the next level narin ang kareera ni VG ngaun… Aside from
showtime, marami na rin siyang naging TV Shows at nafeature na rin siya sa MMK as himself – Jose Marie Viceral… May movie roles na rin siya (Condo, In my life) at ngayong 2010 ay kasali at may role si VG sa pelikulang NOY at Hating Kapatid (to be release in July) at ginagawa na rin ngayon ang remake ng PETRANG KABAYO with VG as Petra (lead role to ha..BONGGA!)
And there’s more… Makakalimutan ba natin yung kanyang first ever major solo concert sa
Araneta Coliseum lang naman with an estimated 20,000 in attendance (Sold out?)… Idagdag pa natin jan yung kanyang mga successful concerts and tours inside and outside the Philippines… BONGGA EVER SO MUCH KA VICE! (And I’m thankful nandito na siya sa GENSAN)
Wow, he’s already achieved that far despite of being a relative beginner in Showbiz….
Ganyan kabagsik si Vice…. Kaya nga SUCCESS breeds more SUCCESS! And VG is a classic epitome of that sweet adage. Hindi pa ba sapat ‘to para hirangin natin siya bilang ating “PAMBANSANG KOMEDYANTE?” Kaya if doubtful pa rin kayo… Hintayin nyo! HMMMM….
At heto pa: (to bolster the claim of his being the “pambansang komedyante”) … si VG lang
naman ang unang filipino celebrity naka abot 1,000,000 fans (currently 1,667,123 fans) sa FACEBOOK and I’m proud to be a part of that fanpage. Ganun natin ka LIKE at LOVE si Vice Ganda…Kaya para sa akin, hindi importante if may titulo siya o wala…. Basta ako like ko siya at gusto ko siya mapanood LIVE….
Kaya for me, ito lang ang reason ko: I simply like VG because he always makes me laugh and smile…. He is truly funny, talented, intelligent, a responsible person and of course Palaban. VICE GANDA, for me, is the undisputed “PAMBANSANG KOMEDYANTE”… with a SENSE and of course with a HEART! Kaya kung tutuusin he’s beyond the title.

-kung may pera lang sana ako di nako sasagot sa tanong na eto..magkakasweldo nga ubos nman bayad ng broadband, pagkain,gatas ng pamangkin at bayad sa hinuhulugan kong digi cam.(baket pa kasi June 27 2010,8:00 sa lagao gym, nextime i-timing nyo nmn sa payday)
-kung di ko lang tlaga gusto etong si vice ganda-di ko na xa hinintay noon sa kcc mall at nagpapicture sa kanya kahit na bawal at pwede akong masibak sa work.
-kung di ko lang talaga xa idol-naku di ako maghahalf day o magfafile ng personal out twice a week para mapanood lang ang showtime.(kaltas din sa sweldo yun..pero bahala na).
etoh na yung sagot ko kung baket xa pwede tawaging PAMBANSANG KOMEDYANTE .
