Due to numerous requests, GenSan News Online Mag is publishing the Inaugural Speech of the new Mayor of General Santos City, the Honorable Darlene Antonino-Custodio here, in verbatim.
GenSan Mayor Darlene Antonino-Custodio is sworn into office while flanked by parents former Congresswoman Lualhati and former Mayor Adelbert Antonino with husband Benjie Custodio.

Sana ma-upgrade na Gen. Santos International Airport natin sa lalong madaling panahon if we are envisioning a “Global GenSan”. A mere renovation isn’t enough.

sa pagka alam ko, the whole gensan airport was donated including its parking spaces by the USAID.
Y naman kwartahan ng buwaya ang parking spaces sa gensan airport. dapat libre yan para sa mga byhero paalis at parating.
makaram sana ang mga buwaya sa gensan airport.

Ok lang naman may bayad ang parking lot ng paliparan pero sana nag invest muna ang concessionaire sa pagpapaganda, pagsasaayos at investment sa seguridad at kaayusan ng daloy ng trapiko sa parking lot ng aeroporto. Anu ba yan? nangwarta na agad wala ka namang nakikitang development. Susmaryosep ang kakapal naman ng pagmumukha ng mga eto…anu ba yan mr. ATO chief?!! eeewe!

kita nyo naman pagbaba mo sa plane . . . daming porters nakahalo sa arriving passengers. . . wala namang cart makuha for the comfort and convenience ng mga arriving passengers.
why naman nilagyan ng INTERNATIONAL ang gensan airport samantalang wala sa category na pang international ang arrival at departure area.
o baka naman hinaharang ng mga buwaya sa airport para wag magkaroon ng mga push carts. Tanda ko noon, me balita tungkol dyan kaso hinaharang daw ng mga concessionaire, porters etc pa.
pag magkaroon ng push carts sa airport for the convenience of the arriving passengers, , patay negosyo ng mga porters kung maningil doble pa. . .
mayor darlene paki busisi mo mga kung ano ang pwede nating magawa sa mga buwaya sa airport. sila bigay bad image sa gensan developement

Hay naku! nakakahiya ang airport po natin…masakit man isipin but we have to admit napaka 3rd Class ng airport natin!…tapos ganito? mag e-envision tayo ng “global GenZen?” juiceko, mangilabot nga tayo pwede bah? hehehe masyado na tayong napag iiwanan…Cagayan de Oro and Iligan will soon have a world class international airport. eto tayo kailan pa?

paano maging global gensan if you can see how useless those police boxes. donated yan ng mga member ng commerce chamber to benefit the PNP gensan for their beat and post more police on round the clock basis.
The police boxes are said to be a good help to those assigned in the beat but because of ineptude and wanton disregard of their mission and vision, the police boxes became instant motel of tung-og and other tryist for quickie sex.
If you can see, there are many traffic enforcers in Gensan but most are concentrated at the puiblic market where they can milk drivers with their “jack-n-poy” games as to who they will apprehend and take grease money. kita nyo naman ang mga traffic boys ng gensan.. . . di sila maka work beyond 5pm. ehehehe pag dilim wala na sila. . .pag ulan wala kang makita. . . kahit anino nila. . . but pag ok ang climate. . dyan sila mabilis at maagap. they are on the street as early as 5am dun sa highway me mga traffic enforcers lagi para ng mga cargo truck fish cars, hehehe paki busisi mo nga mayor darlene. kung gusto ng mga traffic enforcers makita sa video ang gawa nila, mas ok pa sana kung i-post na agad sa youtube.
nang mauso ang anti – wang-wang. . . abaw gid pa epek ang taga LTO gensan. kasi me mga mata nakatingin sa kanila if sino ang hulihin ano ang alisin. . . bakit wang wang lang ang huli? dami sa gensan gumagamit ng vanity plates. . . dami din mga naka motor walang helmet sa gabi, pag sabado at linggo. .
kulang sa pangil ang LTO at LTRFB manghuli ng mga kolurum na tricycle at mga habal habal . . dyan kasi tumitiba ang mga taga traffic enforcers, corrupt LTO LTRFB
Mayor darlene please lang go out ka muna sa office at see by your eyes in your tinted private vehicle kung ano ang mga gawa ng mga traffice enforcers natin dahil city hall ang nagpapa sweldo sa kanila. . . see mo din kung paano mabigyan ng solusyon ang mga illegal at kolurum na tricycle. . .
