Fullybooked’s BIBLIARCH @ KCC opens this weekend!
Finally, the long wait is over. The newest bookstore is about to open this weekend in General Santos City and Bariles just received an emailed invite for the inauguration tomorrow, Saturday, October 16, 2010!
But first, let us set the facts straight.
No, it is not FULLYBOOKED which is opening at the KCC Mall of GenSan, as we have blogged about it in an earlier post.
But yes, Fullybooked still owns the new store about to open, which is actually the 3rd Branch of their equally famous BIBLIARCH SPECIALTY BOOKSHOP.

Bibliarch Specialty Bookshop, as its name suggests carries books dealing mostly with art and architecture (the “arch” in Bibliarch), photography, interior design, graphic design, and a wide array of US and foreign magazines. It however stocks on books on other stuff too like children’s literature, cookbooks, travel guides and the finer things in life.
If we have to judge their two existing branches at the 1st level of Glorietta 3 and at WalterMart in Makati, Bibliarch should be very much different from the usual look of the current tightly-spaced bookstores that we are used to. Browsing thru books here should be a breeze and a leisurely experience.
"THE BIBLIARCH SPECIALTY BOOKSHOP AT THE MAIN ENTRANCE OF KCC MALL OF GENSAN (J.CATOLICO SIDE) RIGHT WING."
That is why, Bariles is most excited about Bibliarch’s inauguration tomorrow and once it starts its regular run, he will surely be a constant presence here. Promise.
Congratulations to Fullybooked, the company which owns Bibliarch for putting up shop in GenSan, ahead of the bigger cities in the Philippines!
Perhaps, just like the rest of them investors, they too believed that we are truly “MAGANDANG GENSAN!“

Yes! at last naka punta na rin!
I was quite fascinated sa dami ng history books nila (World Histories)
Nakakadismaya lang kasi wala masyado mga filipiniana books! = (

hmmm…bakit parang walang books related to architecture, interior design and arts? when i was there, panay reading books for kids, and novels and meron…talaga bang mayroon silang books for art & architecture Mr. Bariles? sayang, gusto ko pa naman sanang bumili kaso i was so dismayed…

@Toinks, did you ask the staff?
Toinks10/26/2010 at 7:20 PM
I didn’t bother to ask na lang po Mr. Bariles kasi I swear inikot ko ang buong store but I didn’t see any art & architecture-related books being displayed. If ever na nakatago, what for would they do such? hehehe I thought pa naman kasi bibliaarch specializes in those fields of learning kasi sabi nga po dito sa Gensan News Online Mag. But anyways, sayang…1st impression lasts pa naman.

Siguro next time na lang…magtatanong na lang ako baka nga nakatago ang mga yon hehehe
