Ogie Alcasid Album Tour @ Robinsons

Right when we thought that Robinsons Place GenSan has thrown in the towel to KCC Mall of GenSan in terms of an imagined race to bring in top-rated performers to headline mall shows in their turfs, comes its answer to KCC’s Martin Nievera mall show this month!

This time Robinsons Place GenSan has booked no less than debonair singer and talented songwriter Ogie Alcasid in an album tour on November 27, 2010!

Yes, that’s it. Ogie Alcasid will be at the Activity Center/Atrium of Robinsons Place GenSan on November 27, 2010, 5pm to promote his latest album.  He will sing cuts from his latest release and sign albums for those who will buy them at the concert ground entrance inside the mall.

The album, entitled Ogie Alcasid: Ngayon at Kailanman, is a tribute to the late master composer of the most poetic pinoy love songs ever, George Canseco.

Bariles himself was able to purchase a copy of this album and is in his iPod Nano playlist.  Ogie’s interpretations of George Canseco’s hits like Hanggang Sa Dulong Walang Hanggan, Kung Ako’y Iiwan Mo, Kastilyong Buhangin,  title track Ngayon at Kailanman, among others bring a fresh and lighter touch to these immortal classics.
