FREE Tickets to ROCK ON MANILA, biggest rock concert ever!

With only a few days remaining before the Biggest Rock Concert ever to hit GenSan unravels, General Santos City News Online Mag gives you a chance to grab FREE TICKETS to this event!

For you to watch Manila Beer and K101‘s Biggest Rock Concert dubbed as “ROCK ON MANILA“, on November 19, 2010, we are running a BLOG CONTEST among Soccsksargen Bloggers.

The mechanics to the “Rock On Manila Concert in GenSan Blog Contest” are very simple.

  1. First, you must be a SUBSCRIBER to this blog.  You can subscribe to General Santos City Online Mag by submitting your email address below.
    2. Enter your email address:

  2. Your blogpost should answer the following question: Among the six bands performing this Friday at the Biggest Rock Concert ever to hit GenSan, which one is your favorite, and why? Choose among any of these bands:  Kamikaze Band, Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc-9, Sandwich Band, Franco Band and Carat Band.
  3. The article should at least contain 100 words.
  4. Your article must contain these keywords and links:
    1. General Santos News Online Mag (http://www.gensantos.com)
    2. Rock On Manila (http://www.gensantos.com/2010/11/10/6-manila-bands-rock-on-manila-or-the-biggest-rock-concert-in-gensan-ever/)
  5. Your blog post entry must contain the following information:
    1. Name/Date/Time/Venue of the event
    2. Sponsors’ Names
    3. Names of the bands performing
  6. Submit the URL or link to your blog post entry by writing it in the MESSAGES PORTION below.
  7. The deadline of submission of entries will be 3pm of November 18, 2010.  Winners will be determined via ELECTRONIC RAFFLE (random.org).
  8. The winners will be announced at 8pm, November 18, 2010.

Here are the PRIZES:

  • TOP 10 GRAND PRIZES –  1 Front Row Seat each and 1 Backstage Pass for chance to meet and greet your FAVE BAND
  • 10 Consolation PRIZES –  1 Concert Pass each

Bariles is a Filipino word for “Tuna”, the primary source of income of the people of General Santos City which hosts 6 of the Philippines’ 8 tuna canneries and more than 80% of its tuna processing plants.

The city boasts of the only “Tuna Festival” in the world celebrated every September 5 in commemoration of its charterhood anniversary.

Bariles is also the alias of this blog's author who would like nothing than to write about his beloved city by the bay and share it with his kababayans from all over.

Aside from being a blogger, Bariles is a Google Map Maker enthusiast, the Convenor of the annual Blogfest Soccskargen, the organizer of the SEX Tour for Bloggers and the co-founder & self-proclaimed mother hen of the Soccsksargen Bloggers. His daytime job? Media Affairs Officer of the highest office of the city.
