In Remembrance: The TV Ads for Maguindanao Massacre Victims

It will be November 23, 2010 soon but the cry for justice of the  families of the 58 Maguindanao massacre victims still resonates from all the four corners of Mindanao, a year after it happened.

In honor of the victims, including 32 media people, some of whom were Bariles‘ friends and acquiantances, GenSan News Online Mag is featuring the first in a series of five (5) TV ads commemorating their death anniversary.  Produced by a good number of television, media and movie personalities pro bono, the 5 ads ought to remind people of the 58 deaths which occurred in the grassy hills of a remote village in Maguindanao.

The first TV ad for the Maguindanao Massacre victims is entitled FAMILIES.

This video features Cathy Nunez, mother of UNTV reporter Victor Nunez, Myrna Reblando, wife of Manila Bulletin reporter Bong Reblando, a daughter of UNTV media worker Daniel Tiamzon, and Grace Morales, sister of Marites Cablitas and wife of Rossel Morales, both of News Focus.

It was directed by Jim Libiran under production houses RSVP Film Production and Rentals and Unitel.

Here now is the first TV Ad in memory of the Maguindanao Massacre victims….

Please share this with others so that they too, will never forget.

I support for live telecasts on the Maguindanao massacre on-going trial. Every Filipino people deserves to know every details of what is happening during the court trial. We call on our Supreme Court justices to support/approve media coverage just like other heinous crime in the past such as: Myrna Diones Story; Mayor Sanchez Rape Slay; Cong. Jalosjos rape case; etc.
