Rep Acharon scores perfect attendance in 15th Congress

Congressman Pedro “Jun” Acharon, Jr. of the First District of South Cotabato was present in all of the 45 sessions of the 15th Congress last year.

This makes him one of the 43 members or 15% of the House of Representatives who have scored a perfect 100% attendance record since regular sessions started on July 26 and adjourned on December 14, 2010.

Representative Acharon, together with North Cotabato Rep Jesus Sacdalan and Sultan Kudarat Rep Raden Sakaluran are the only congressmen from Region XII (South Central Mindanao) who are members of this esteemed list.

They plus four more were the only seven representatives from Mindanao who made it.  (Refer to list above with emboldened names)

Out of the 43, seven were on their third term while Congressman Acharon is on his frist.

As a recognition for their feat, Rep Acharon and his 42 colleagues were given a Parker pen each as a token of appreciation.

    Let’s hope by next the national election in 2013, South Cotabato will have its 2 legislative districts na while ang Gensan at least meron ng sariling district… And It would be a bonus, no.. I think it’s imperative, for our city to have 2 legislative districts for equitable representation….

    Oh well, this perfect attendance of Rep. Acharon is expected of him. At least hindi nya tayo binigo sa aspetong ito. Besides ay talagang kailangan nyang maging present palagi dahil sa baguhan sya sa lebel ng kamara. Sana naman magawan nya ng paraan na ma-isulong ang matagal nang minimithi ng mga Generals na maging (kahit man lang) lone district ang General Santos City para nang sa gayon ay magkaroon tayo ng sapat na pondo para ika-aayos pa ng mga proyektong pang inprastraktura dito sa ating ciudad…Aasahan namin sa iyo ito Rep. Pedro Acharon ha, ok?

    Ang paliparan natin dito sa lungsod ay kailangan ng boses … 😉 gayun din ang ating mga kalsada at iba pang serbisyo at proyekto kapakipakinabang sa lahat lalong lalo na nating mga Generals.

    good. pagtuunan sana pansin at planuhin habang maaga pa ang drainage, garbage disposal, potable water at electrical power requirement ng ating distrito. parami na ang mga businesses at pati tao.
