Bikes & Skates, Cars & Motors clash at Robs today!

Tthis weekend of February 19-20, 2011 bicycles and skateboards, automobiles and motorcycles of all shapes and sizes will be pitted against one another in various competitions at the Robinsons Place GenSan!

Check out these gigs:

  • 7am, Feb 19, Parking Lot            -  Volkswagen Race
  • 9am, Feb 19,  Rear vacant lot     – 4×4 Off-Road Competition
  • 9am – 80m, Feb 19-20, Atrium -  Auto and Motorcycles Show and Competition (Golden State’s 20th Year Anniversary Celebration)
  • 3pm, Feb 19, Parking Lot  -             BMX Bike & Skateboard Competitions with LIVE BAND
  • 9am, Feb 20, Rear vacant lot    -  Motocross Competition

Bariles is a Filipino word for “Tuna”, the primary source of income of the people of General Santos City which hosts 6 of the Philippines’ 8 tuna canneries and more than 80% of its tuna processing plants.

The city boasts of the only “Tuna Festival” in the world celebrated every September 5 in commemoration of its charterhood anniversary.

Bariles is also the alias of this blog's author who would like nothing than to write about his beloved city by the bay and share it with his kababayans from all over.

Aside from being a blogger, Bariles is a Google Map Maker enthusiast, the Convenor of the annual Blogfest Soccskargen, the organizer of the SEX Tour for Bloggers and the co-founder & self-proclaimed mother hen of the Soccsksargen Bloggers. His daytime job? Media Affairs Officer of the highest office of the city.
