Sarangani Bay Festival 2011 sizzles soon!

It is still three weeks away but as early as now, the 2011th edition of the biggest beach party to hit Southern Mindanao is now making waves with the release of its official poster!

We are talking about the Sarangani Bay Festival of course or SarBay Fest, for short.

An annual project of the Sarangani Provincial Government conceptualized under the administration of Governor Migs Dominguez, the Sarangani Bay Festival is meant to draw attention to the their mission to conserve the richness of Sarangani Bay’s marine life and save its ecological wonders while at the same time, focusing on its tourism potentials through a three-day celebration!

 

The Sarangani Bay Festival 2011 will unspool on May 19-21, 2011.  Capitalizing on the province’s come-on:  Sarangani, Your Adventure, Tourism Vice-Chair Michelle Solon, the better-half of Vice-Governor Steve Solon has lined up all imaginable activities and events for just about everyone.

Take note of these:  SarBay Summer Nights, Bay Bodies (Bikini Open), Acoustic Nights, Party by the Bay, Fire Dancers performances, Concert by the Bay with Rocksteddy, Lumba Bugsay, Bombo Bancarera, Culinart Competition, BayFair FunRun, Swim Across the Bay Race, Sand Sculpture, All Night Party with BeatLab DJs, Danzercise, Ultimate Frisbee Competition, Beach Volleyball, Beach Foot Volley, Beach Football, and Skimboard Competition/Exhibition, among other things.

See?  There is something in it for every Tom, Dick, Jane and Mary!

Bariles is also the alias of this blog's author who would like nothing than to write about his beloved city by the bay and share it with his kababayans from all over.
