GenSan all set for Ms. Universe 3rd runner-up Shamcey’s homecoming

General Santos City is getting ready for a Hero’s Welcome for its favored daughter, newly-crowned 3rd runner-up winner of the 2011 Miss Universe Pageant, Miss Shamcey Supsup.

“We just have to coordinate with her Bb. Pilipinas handlers on the exact date of her arrival in Manila and her eventual flight back here to be with his father, ” remarked General Santos City Administrator Atty. Jong Gonzales to Bariles when questioned about it.

The City Administrator is forming a Task Force to oversee preparations including logistics and manpower to ensure that Shamcey’s victorious homecoming although still simple, will be one fit for a “returning queen“.

The City Council, for its part, filed a resolution, authored by Councilor Beth Bagonoc ‘congratulating Ms. Shamcey Supsup for her victory and for bringing the name of General Santos City with her“.
