New Pacquiao Building rising across SM City GenSan

01/30/2012 by bariles in Pacquiao News with 32 Comments - 7,966 Views

Manny Pacquiao‘s first hotel project in General Santos City, the RoadHouse Economy Hotel (Click here for report) has not even been opened to the public yet, but we just found out that he has another building also undergoing construction in another part of the city.

This time, it is a proposed three-storey commercial building sitting right across the upcoming SM City General Santos and beside the 111-room GreenLeaf Hotel (Click here for report) also in the works, along San Miguel Street.

The announcement billboard mentions the owner as the “PGOC“, short for Pacquiao Group of Companies.  The contractor is JDRC Construction & Supply of Davao while the designing company is D.N. Guevarra Architect and Associates.

From the looks of it, this new Pacquiao Building will be covered by glass panelling on all sides which is quite neat if I may say so.  It will fit right in with the other buildings in progress in what is turning out to be the most valuable commercial area in GenSan!

Somebody from Manny Pacquiao‘s group told us that almost all the spaces in this building have already been rented out to various local doctors for their clinics.  If this is 100% accurate, then we will be seeing the makings of another PolyClinic Building in our midst, this time courtesy of Manny Pacquiao.

So this is it pala. A sort of medical plaza. I agree with other bloggers here I have different impression as well. From the looks of it high end ang dating very different from other clinics we have here. Upgraded services and facilities is what this building tells about. This is quite interesting. But I hope the doctor’s fee, etc. is not surprising, hehe.

They are checking possible area where they can put up the first starbucks in gensan but sad to say they could not give the exact date when and where starbucks will be opened.

  14. irene03/15/2012 at 5:52 PMReply

Guys, for those wanting to have high buildings in gensan, we all know yung lupa ng gensan doesn’t support for many tall buildings, kasi nga sandy type ba yun? (correct me if i’m wrong) baka lulubog ang lupa natin or mgkakaruon ng butas (sink hole? hwag naman). hehe

As for general santos getting a big buzz, i’m really happy for sa improvements sa gensan. Prove to be heneral talaga,/

    :D
