New Pacquiao Building rising across SM City GenSan

Manny Pacquiao‘s first hotel project in General Santos City, the RoadHouse Economy Hotel (Click here for report) has not even been opened to the public yet, but we just found out that he has another building also undergoing construction in another part of the city.

This time, it is a proposed three-storey commercial building sitting right across the upcoming SM City General Santos and beside the 111-room GreenLeaf Hotel (Click here for report) also in the works, along San Miguel Street.

The announcement billboard mentions the owner as the “PGOC“, short for Pacquiao Group of Companies.  The contractor is JDRC Construction & Supply of Davao while the designing company is D.N. Guevarra Architect and Associates.

From the looks of it, this new Pacquiao Building will be covered by glass panelling on all sides which is quite neat if I may say so.  It will fit right in with the other buildings in progress in what is turning out to be the most valuable commercial area in GenSan!

Somebody from Manny Pacquiao‘s group told us that almost all the spaces in this building have already been rented out to various local doctors for their clinics.  If this is 100% accurate, then we will be seeing the makings of another PolyClinic Building in our midst, this time courtesy of Manny Pacquiao.

  4. White Knight says:

So this is it pala. A sort of medical plaza. I agree with other bloggers here I have different impression as well. From the looks of it high end ang dating very different from other clinics we have here. Upgraded services and facilities is what this building tells about. This is quite interesting. But I hope the doctor’s fee, etc. is not surprising, hehe.

  14. irene says:

Guys, for those wanting to have high buildings in gensan, we all know yung lupa ng gensan doesn’t support for many tall buildings, kasi nga sandy type ba yun? (correct me if i’m wrong) baka lulubog ang lupa natin or mgkakaruon ng butas (sink hole? hwag naman). hehe

As for general santos getting a big buzz, i’m really happy for sa improvements sa gensan. Prove to be heneral talaga,/

    😀

  15. mark says:

    wow are you sure irene?

  16. naitsirk says:

@ryan i dont want anybody to argue here in this forum,,pre wag ka icip bat dyn na kng di ka bgyn ng candy iiyak at ngunguwa ngywa ka dyn,,,,,let’s be open minded with this dre,,,for me lng gensan in progress are very ustoppable now,,nararapat lng ang gensan na tatayuan ng mga skycrapers because of gthe potentials of the city,,di mbha alam dre,,ang isang syudad na lumi level up sa progress nararapat lng na my trademark xa sa nkamit na tagumpay at pag aasenso ng syudad,,,,sa madaling salita buildings it helps the view of one’s city going on to progress….. and now its time to shine gensan city…..@irene po,,,ke malambot o mababa ang level ng lupa,,carry parin tayuan ng high rise building yn,,,,,,nkadepende sa magaling na cntractor at nag dedesinyo ng building yn,,,,and most of all po…all things are not impossibe with the aid of impressive and very state of the art technology…….abu dhabi is a desert country kng malambot sa malambot ang lupa very soft ang lupa dto,,,,,,it just look like worst than a mud clay pag knting ulan lng ang pumapatak dto sa uae,,,same as dubai full of desert yn dati,,bkit now……nagtataasan ang mga gusali……..kulang lng sa masidhi at modernong technology ang gensan to make it…..

  23. naitsirk says:

@ ryan, ang idea ko ay naaayon sa kng anu man ang observations ko at kng anu ang mga kakulangan upang mpagnda at madevelop ng husto ang ating syudad heneral santos,,natural khit papano andyn ung cncerns ko sa mhal kng syudad na khit papano natutuwa ako sa bilis ng pag asenso ng syudad at nkikita ko ung kakulangan para mapaimprove ng ating gobyerno ksama ng mga lgu’s ang city of gensan,,,,teka nga,,,,,ang main point dto is ung mga opinions ko lng,,suggestions, kng anu mkabubuti,,,,para sa gensan kng minamahal,,,,para lalo ito umunlad…kaya nga my blog forum ay para mapagdiskusyunan ng nabibilang dto na mga forumers kng anu ang mgndang solusyon at gawin ng ating gobyerno para sa lubos na ikakauunlad ng general santos…..useless of sharing some of my ideas,,my suggestions and opinions kng di man lng pakikinggan ,,kng my nag cocontradict na wla sa ayos,,lalong lalo na kng mgsalita wla nman sa katinuan,,,,,,,@ryan,,,thats why im here in abroad para mkatulong sa pamilya ko,,at para narin sa future,,,,,,,bkit bini big deal mo na andto ako sa labas,,,masama bha pumunta ng abroad??na para mgng maayos ang hinahangad mong future pag uwi mo ng pinas…….
