Socoteco’s Power Advisory on new load curtailment for April 19 & beyond (UPDATED)

Due to the total shutdown of the Pulangi Hydro-electric plant, SOCOTECO 2 has released their latest Power Advisory on their new load curtailment affecting their clients all over General Santos, parts of Sarangani and South Cotabato for today, April 19, 2012.

Here is the chart of the time schedules of the brownouts within the SOCOTECO 2 Area:

As you can see, we will all be undergoing FOUR agonizing EARTH HOURS today.  Which means, that for establishments and residences without generators, that translates to FOUR HOURS of suffering the deliriously hot summer.

To check your area’s Feeder number,  here is the chart containing the different Feeder Assignments from Socoteco 2.

Furthermore according to Socoteco 2, these schedules are still dependent on the allowable dispatchable capacity from the National Grid Corporation of the Phils. which changes from time to time.

So either the brownouts are shortened or could take much longer today.

Let’s wait for the next schedule of interruptions for the following days.  Whether this reaches 12 hours daily just like last 2011 actually depends on the NGCP.

So how will you spend your 4-hour scheduled brownout today?   You have tips??  Share them with us.  :)

@PsychoFreak03, pareho tayong gabi. Watch na lang ng sine muna sa Robinsons or KCC Cinemas. Or magkape sa Al Fresco ng Robs, sa mga bars ng SunCity, etc. Magastos!
