GenSan Police is “Best City Police Office” nationwide again!

Congratulations again to the General Santos City Police Office (GSCPO) for holding on to their award as the country’s “Best City Police Office” by the Philippine National Police (PNP) for 2012.  The first time they won it was last year.

This accolade was due to the police office’s “outstanding performance” in overall operations in 2011 based on the evaluation by the PNP Central Office.

We salute the men and women of the General Santos City Police led by Senior Supt. Cedrick Train, city police director.

He will be accepting the honors with City Mayor Darlene Antonino-Custodio from President Noynoy Aquino at the Camp Crame today, August 8, 2012.

The city boasts of the only “Tuna Festival” in the world celebrated every September 5 in commemoration of its charterhood anniversary.

Bariles is also the alias of this blog's author who would like nothing than to write about his beloved city by the bay and share it with his kababayans from all over.

Aside from being a blogger, Bariles is a Google Map Maker enthusiast, the Convenor of the annual Blogfest Soccskargen, the organizer of the SEX Tour for Bloggers and the co-founder & self-proclaimed mother hen of the Soccsksargen Bloggers. His daytime job? Media Affairs Officer of the highest office of the city.
