Gerald Anderson at SM City for TunaFest

For this Tuna Festival weekend (September 8-9, 2012), SM City GenSan is flying in the Tuna Capital’s most famous son (after Manny Pacquiao) and that’s no less than TV-movie actor Gerald Anderson himself.

Gerald Anderson, a resident of Dona Soledad Subdivision in Barangay Labangal and a former student and basketball varsity player of Holy Trinity College before he became one of ABS-CBN’s hottest young dramatic actors, will be topbilling a Kapamilya show on September 8, 2012 at the SM City GenSan Carpark from 4pm onwards.

Along with him is a much older actor but still a hunk nevertheless – Mr. Gabby Concepction and competent telenovela actress Ms. Kaye Abad. All of them are Kapamilya stars.

This is Gerald Anderson‘s first appearance in the city since the first one years ago at the Pasko-Sa-GenSan, right after he came out of the Pinoy Big Brother house and before he became the big star that he is now. Conducting his show at the Car Park is a great idea because for sure, thousands will flock to SM City just to see this famous “general” in the flesh.

The following day, it’s GMA Kapuso‘s turn to bring in their celebrities in a show at the Event Center from 4pm. These are Krystal Reyes, Angelu de Leon, Carl Guevarra and Sid Lucero.  Expect it to be another jampacked show inside the cavernous atrium of the mall.

All these plus more can only be expected at SM City’s first celebration of the GenSan Tuna Festival which from the looks of it, will be remembered forever by the generals!
