Dadiangas North High School bags Gensan Tuna Festival 2018 Streetdancing Competition Grand Prize

On September 5, 2018, five secondary public schools in General Santos City competed at the Streetdancing Competition of the 20th Tuna Festival.  This competition is a major highlight of the festival commemorating the city’s charterhood anniversary and an ode or tribute to its top economic driver, the tuna industry.

The streetdancers all converged at KCC Mall of Gensan right after noon on that day and proceeded to dance their way to the Oval Plaza about 5 kilometers away.  Here are some of the photos we shot…

At the end of the day, and after their grand showdown at the Oval Plaza right before the closing ceremonies of the 20th Tuna Festival celebration, Dadiangas North High School emerged as the Grand Champion, bringing home with them P250k.

Check out the names of the winners in our Facebook Page feed below.

Congratulations to all the winners!  And yes, thank God for the successful and peaceful Tuna Festival 2018!
