Let’s party together at SarBay Fest 2013!

Finally! What we have been waiting for with bated breath ever since the first signs of summer appeared this year will soon be here.  And why not?

It’s SoCCSkSargen’s grandest summer escapade!  It’s Mindanao’s biggest beach party!  And…. It’s the country’s brightest and newest star in the tourism circuit!

It is the Sarangani Bay Festival 2013, or what is now more popularly known as the SarBay Fest, which will unravel for two days, from May 24-25, 2013 at the white beaches and turquoise blue waters of Sarangani Bay, Sarangani Province.

Check out the SarBay Fest 2013 Schedule of Activities below…

SarBay Festival Schedule of Events 2013

Just checking the activities at the Schedule of Events of Mindanao’s Biggest Beach Festival above will make one realize that all the crowd-drawers are still there, from the BAY BODIES Bikini Open to the Foam Party at the Beach, the JetSki Competition, Swim Across the Bay Competition, to the FireDance Competition, among other things.  Most of these will happen at Gumasa, Glan, which will be the Main Events Venue.

Over fifty vendors selling everything from food, drinks, souvenirs, beach attire, etc will occupy a certain portion of the main venue.  Portalets and public comfort rooms will be available for revelers and festival goers for a minimal fee.

As of this writing, all the resorts’ rooms and cottages along the Gumasa White Sand strip (White Haven, Rosal Beach, Coco Beach) are fully booked.  You may however bring your TENTS and pitch them up at the TENT CITY that the Provincial Tourism Office has prepared in the area.

Other options for festival goers are the resorts outside the area like Davak Beach, Isla Jardin del Sol and the Yshikawa Crystal Sand, among others.  Some residential houses at the Glan Poblacion have also opened their doors for tourists.

For those who prefer to stay overnight at some accredited SARBAY FEST HOTELS in General Santos City (45 minutes away), there will be SHUTTLE SERVICES for them.

Now, to participate in the various Sports Competitions spread out in two days, check out the LINKS and NAMES of the contact persons in the Calendar of Activities above.
