A few years ago, we blogged about a young singer who goes by the name of Datu Khomeini who was set to perform in the Kalilangan 2009 celebrations. Billed then as the “King of Moro songs“, Datu Khomeini Camsa Bansuan‘s concert was one of the most patronized concerts at that time and my blog post about him gathered a lot of favorable responses. He was indeed a young superstar among the Muslim youth!
Fast forward to 2015. Datu Khomeini is back!
In celebration of the Eid’l Fit’r celebrations starting tomorrow, July 17, 2015, Dolores Tropicana Resort Hotel is presenting Datu Khomeini in a two-night concert at their party zone. Datu Khomeini, now 33, is a native of Isulan, Sultan Kudarat and have been performing in concerts here and in the Middle East where he has a sizeable following. He has also been delving in indie movies.

If you can’t make it to Dolores Tropicana Resort, there is still a chance for you to watch him earlier, tomorrow, Friday, July 17, 2015, at 4:00pm. The charismatic hitmaker will be performing at the SM City General Santos Event Center, too.
All the series of Datu Khomeini’s performances for the Eid’l Fit’r celebrations in General Santos City are FREE. That gives the fans of the King of Moro songs more reasons to celebrate the end of Ramadan, along with his non-Muslim admirers too!
